Tuesday 25th April 2023 L.O: to evaluate and review our news day project   Evaluation: Explain what you did and what stories you worked on. We did a news report on the teacher strikes around the UK. We filmed our main story and had an interview with Mrs.Boyd about it. Which bit did you enjoy the most and why? I enjoyed the interviewing because it was very interesting. Which bit did you least enjoy and why? Being filmed because it was awkward being behind a camera. What skills did you learn and develop? I developed editing and confidence.  What did you learn about the film News process? There are a lot of different stages to crating an effective and good news story.

  28th February 2023 L.O:   To explore the concept and format of news. Types of news:  crime, sport, science, climate, health, cost of living, family, education ,war, business, health, celebrity. -crime: Urgent search for baby as couple arrested. -cost of living: Money Diary ' I have 25p left in my bank account'. -sport: Smith left out of the England squad as Ford returns. Fake news: False information used to shape your views opinions or ideas. The information is often exaggerated heavily biased or simply not true. It is often misleading. It can also be known as propaganda.  Fake news   examples of recent fake news:  Joe Biden calls trump supporters "dregs of society". "NYC coroner who declared the death of Jeffrey Epstein a suicide made half a million dollars a year working for the Clinton Foundation until 2015"

9th February 2023   L.O: To plan,film and edit an effective sequence.    Our trailer is about two weird people coming to attack two normal people.

  31/01/2023 L.O:   To plan and construct an effective green screen scene. Script : music: call me maybe 07/02/2023   I think that the future of special effects is going to include more virtual reality.

  12th January 2023 L.O:  To explore the different features of iMovie and experiment with different genre features. The trailer i chose is minions the rise of gru and the genre is a hybrid between action adventure and comedy. I am going to change it into a horror.  24th January 2023  WWW: Found the parts of the trailer that were "scarier" and tried to put them in a certain order to give it the cliffhanger effect. EBI: Finish it put some text in and maybe some sound effects. SFX   L.O:  To create a realistic green screened clip using imovie. Special effects:  . Mechanical effects  . Prosthetic makeup .  Green screening  . CGI CGI- computer generated imagery ( effects made with a computer only)  

  January 10th 2023  L.O: to implement genre codes and conventions.  Film Outline- genre: fantasy title: majestic  setting: A mysterious wood on an unknown island inhabited by animals only.  characters: A group of wild horses, different species of animals, young teenage girl and her family, villians (hunters looking to take the animals of the island). plot: A young teenage girl who has moved with her rich family to an un-habited island as they have bought it. The girl was exploring one day when she found a group of wild horses. She comes back to see the horses in the same spot every day for weeks until she slowly builds a bond with them ( and learns she can talk to the horses). One day she comes back to find the horses are no longer there except for one, she looks after the horse and they team together to find the missing horses. Do now Fantasy, action adventure, Scifi, horror, comedy, romance, animation, thriller, dystopian?, drama, family?, crime, western, social realism, biopic. Genre- a style, especially in the arts, that involves a particular set of characteristics. Hybrid- mixture of two or more genres.  Sub genre- categories that a genre can be divided into.  fantasy Cinderella, tangled, princess and the frog, brave, enchanted, harry potter, maleficent, frozen, avatar. Main genre conventions: a magic system, well developed setting, a cast of complex characters, good vs evil,  Famous fantasy directors: Tim Burton, Duncan Jones, Peter Jackson, Terry Gilliam, Walt Disney, Robert Zemeckis.  Fantasy film actors: Emma Watson, Madeline McGraw, Jonny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Lily James.
