29th November 2022 L.O: To refine and develop photoshop skills.   Great work Ella May WWW: you've included all of the main elements of a horror poster EBI: think about the blending of your visual elements   Fantasy film poster 01/12/2022 Do Now  Tron: Sci-Fi because it looks like its based in the future and it also has cold/blue colours. Judgement of paris: Action because it has a lot going on in the background and the man on the poster has a very serious facial expression. Pans labyrinth: Fantasy because of the font and the environment in the poster.  

  17/11/2022 www- Used the copy and pasting tool correctly and also the smudge tool to blend it in. EBI- Use smaller parts to keep my face shape.

  3rd November 2022 L.O: To use and develop creative techniques in Photoshop.   Something that all of these posters have in common is that they all have either a close up of a face or a midshot. They don't use bright colours only a dim colour palette. They have the monster of the film on all of these. My horror poster:    Bold title title- screaming dead  dark background

  The shot type used is medium long shot. They have used this shot so the audience can see the characters clothes and any other props that may be in their hands. Mise-en-scene: The clothes he is wearing shows me that he will be in a dangerous environment as his clothes look like they have a lot of protective gear on. In his hand the man has a helmet (props) the helmet is similar to his clothes as it looks like its supposed to protects him.  In the background there is a jet so it will probably be an action movie with lots of moving around. His facial expression is very serious so it won't necessarily be a kids film with laughing and jokes.  The font tells me that its a bold movie as the font of the heading is bold. These all tell me that this is going to be an action movie about saving people or other things as every thing is serious.

04/10/2022  Media language analysis        L.O:  To analyse a pice of text using media language.    The shot type used is medium long shot. I think they have used this type of shot to show the parts of his body that tell us what this movie is going to be about like his hands as he wearing gloves and has a gun in his hand. They also made sure that his head was in the shot so you can get his facial expressions as they tell us about how the characters will be shown.  The clothing suggests to me that he is going to be active but still very serious and also to fit in. The gloves tell me that he possibly does not want to get caught if he does a crime (covering his finger prints).  The props in this advert is a gun in his right hand which tells me that this is going to be a violent movie and people are going to get shot. The background is plain so they draw attention to to only the character.  Gunshots and explosions were kept in the trail...
