Do now Fantasy, action adventure, Scifi, horror, comedy, romance, animation, thriller, dystopian?, drama, family?, crime, western, social realism, biopic. Genre- a style, especially in the arts, that involves a particular set of characteristics. Hybrid- mixture of two or more genres.  Sub genre- categories that a genre can be divided into.  fantasy Cinderella, tangled, princess and the frog, brave, enchanted, harry potter, maleficent, frozen, avatar. Main genre conventions: a magic system, well developed setting, a cast of complex characters, good vs evil,  Famous fantasy directors: Tim Burton, Duncan Jones, Peter Jackson, Terry Gilliam, Walt Disney, Robert Zemeckis.  Fantasy film actors: Emma Watson, Madeline McGraw, Jonny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Lily James.  Gender has been represented stereotypically in this magazine cover because there is dull colours and Max Verstappen is also dressed very stylishly. It has also been made to look very serious with a close up of his face and it is not very colourful. in “Luther”, the costumes of characters play a significant role in conveying their personalities and the themes of the show, for example if you look at the difference between John Luther and Alice Morgan. for example, Luther wears a dark suit often complimented by a long coat his clothing is practical yet stylish reflecting his role as a detective this shows authority and professionalism the tailored suit signify his position as a detective.
